Today's Waffle Breakfast

Today's Waffle Breakfast hosted by the Milford Fire Department was a huge success. There were so many families there looking to help out the Tlapa family.

Here are some pictures from the day, please enjoy!

Also, the beautiful sign that was made is at the Fire Station. The makers of the sign can stop by and pick it up tomorrow.

wow! What a great morning! Blessings to all who supported the family at the breakfast today.
Thinking of you all.

Jaiden, may the Lord keep you strong. We pray that you are able to hear each word, poem, prayer, song spoken to you as you are there in the hospital. Praying that you are strengthened each day, body, mind, spirit and soul.
Praying too for mommy and daddy and all the rest of the family. Stay strong girl. You are a fighter, and there will be victory in Jesus' mighty name.
Though there may be winter in our lives, Spring is coming which brings abundant new life.

Take care,

It's amazing how when everybody does just a little bit mountains can be moved in such a short amount of time. I feel so blessed to be a part of such a loving community. Jaiden, you are such a star in my eyes. So many peoples lives have been changed because of you. You are amazing - and a hero to many. You keep fighting the fight and we will keep praying the prayers for you and your mommy, and daddy, and Lexi, Aspen, and Gage.

God bless you Tlapa's - tonight and every night.

Hi Jaiden,
It's me Jen. Are you ready for our recess talk? OK, close your eyes and pretend we are walking around the structure. Today we are walking with Geena, Mary, Maddy, Devany and Heather. I got up really early today to go to the fire station for a waffle breakfast for you. I saw Brooke, Lauren, Devany, Zoe and about half of the rest of the town there. One of the firemen said this was their best one ever. After the breakfast I went to a softball clinic. I learned how to field, catch and pitch better. I almost did not do the pitching part but then my Mom talked me into it. I'm glad I did it because I learned to do the windmill which I really wanted to learn how to do. After my clinic, my family and my friend Olivia and her Dad had pizza. After that Sarah and I went to Olivia's house. We stayed at her house for about like 4 hours. Half the time we were playing with her Barbies and the other half we were watching TV and talking because you know that's what girls like to do best. After a while my Dad came over and stayed for 1 hour. My Dad and Olivia's Dad played football and Golf on the Wii. After that my Mom came and it was time to go home. Tonight we had yummy, yummy tacos for dinner! I Love, Love TACOS! (and Chocolate, of course!)
Did you like the recess talk on Friday with KJ? KJ liked being able to do recess talk with us. KJ said she wished that we could do it together all the time. OK, here is your math questions for today ... what is (3*9)-2? This one is harder beacuse you have to make two different calculations. I thought about making it easier but I think you can do it. Don't forget to remember your answers for when you wake up. Well, that's our recess talk for today.
Remember to try and wake up and if you can't do that yet at least try to cough or gag.
I have to go pray for you now.
Love,
Jen

Hi Jaiden,
We wish you could have been in the firehouse today to see all the wonderful people who came together in your name. It looked like every person that works at the firehouse must have been there today! They worked so hard! We heard over 700 people were served breakfast there today! That is probably a new record for them! Just like the turnout today exceeded everyone's expectations, we know you are going to exceed everyone's expectations as well. We know you are working hard with God right now to heal your body. We know this takes time and we are going to keep giving you strength through our prayers until you are done healing sweetie. Have a good nights sleep Jaiden.
Love and Prayers,
The Carson's - Coach Mike, Kathy, Sarah, JEN and Jack

Hey Jaiden,

It's 10:30 at night, so your probably fast asleep.

You should have seen all the people at the breakfast today. It was amazing. I met so many new people. So many people that knew you, and even some that didn't.

There was one thing that everyone at the breakfast had in common. Everyone there was there for you. We were all hoping and praying that you open your eyes, and follow Mom and Dad across the room. Hoping and praying that you get better fast and come home soon.

I hope your infections are clearing up, and that I'll get to see you soon.

Sweet dreams sweet girl. Keep fighting.

xo,

Jacqueline, Scot, Sidney, Matthew, Olivia and Evan

Good Morning Jaiden,
I am praying your strength is building. Since I heard the news I have not been able to get you and your family out of my thoughts. I pray for you every moment I can. I went to the waffle breakfast yesterday in your honor, boy were those waffles good..very good in fact. I was able to obtain a ribbon (even though I ordered a few through the mail - I just coulden't wait for them to arrive)I wear it proudly and am just waiting for the magnetic ones to come so I can display it proudly on my vehicle. Opps, I should probably let you know who I am. I painted beautiful pink & blue sparkly flowers on your face 2 years ago at your cousion Autumn's birthday party. The pictures came out so well and looked so incredibly gorgeous I have been using them on my website and choice board ever since. I feel I know you better than I do. If you go to my website I have your picture in the center of the home page and a link to your blog. I have been very broken up with all this and only hope and pray you are the miracle everyone will be talking about. I keep thinking of all the people that will line the streets of Milford when you come home. It's a long road but rest up little one as you are in store for more than you can ever dream of. We all love you dearly and our hearts will not heal until we can toss confetti at your home coming.

Holleigh, Paul and family -
Pam called me to do Autumn;'s party again and I am constantly thinking of you. My son was at Children's in Boston for an unexpected emergency surgery when he was only 4 months old. I can relate to your plight. The hardest part for me was thinking of future as the current day you are in and not ahead as normal. It's all about the present day and what it holds. She is in the BEST place she could be for care - Children's Hospital of Boston, they are fantastic and very caring, as you well know. The drive is long and daunting but it will be a past memory that you'll reflect on and wonder how did we do that? I pray for you all daily if not minute by minute. May you all have the strength to face each day with vigor.

Love and prayors to you all but most of all Jaiden.
