A Message From Auntie Pam

Please pray extra hard for Jaiden tonight. There is another MRI scheduled for tomorrow. I remain hopeful, and am extremely grateful for all the support everyone has shown to my niece, her parents, and to my entire family. May God be with all of us, but most of all with Jaiden.

This was a comment posted to the blog, but I thought it deserved a post of it's own.

Pam, I wanted to let you know that I will pray very hard for Jaiden tonight. I pray for her, Holleigh, Paul & the kids every day, and I also pray for you every day, Pam. Know that you are loved dearly. There was a void in class tonight without your presence. Everyone is sending their love & prayers to you & your family. Let us know if there is anything at all that you need.

Sweet Jaiden, Coach Gutterson asked everyone for a moment of silence before your basketball game Saturday so we could all pray for you at the same time. You know what was so cool? The gym was SILENT. Can you believe that?!!! It was very cool. All of your teammates have your ribbons, and I think most of the opposing team got them too. All of your friends miss you very much & can't wait for you to come back to the team. They need your spunk!!! I took a picture of your team wearing your ribbons. I'll try to get it on the blog so Mom & Dad can see it.

Holleigh & Paul, Please know that you are in our daily thoughts & prayers. You are both so incredibly strong, and Jaiden will feel your love & strength. We pray for the MRI to show positive signs for your sweet girl. Much love to you all.

Don, Shannon, Lindsey & Nick Gutterson

Paul and Holleigh,
We will be praying extra hard for Jaiden tonight and tomorrow as she rests for her MRI. We will also be praying for both of you that tomorrow may bring you good news and peace. May God ease your burden in the coming 24 hours.

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. Allow your healing hand to heal Jaiden. Touch her soul with Your compassion for others. Touch her heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch her mind with Your wisdom, that her mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach her to reach out to You in her need, and help her to lead others to You by her example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring Jaiden health in body and spirit that she may serve You with all her strength. Touch gently this life which You have created, now and forever. Amen.

Jaiden and Family,
You have thoughts and prayers from Mr. Suprenant, the Superintendent of Schools and the Milford School Board. There was a long discussion about public kindergarten at the budget/bond hearings and at around 10 when they held their normal board meeting, Mr. Suprenant said that all that was discussed tonight seems to "pale" in importance to your circumstances. Boy, I couldn't agree with him more. Please know that my family and I are praying so hard for you in your recovery. Not a moment passes...

Since you have a busy day ahead of you, I'm not going to stop in today. I will be back in Boston tomorrow though, so if it's okay with Mom and Dad, I'll sneak over then.

Holleigh & Paul,
My heart goes out to both of you and your family. Stay Strong and Keep the Faith!!! I pray that you get good news from the MRI!! My husband, Brian is in IRAQ. I spoke to him the yesterday and all his men out there are praying extra hard for Jaiden. Brian had sent me a flag that he had been flown in my honor for supporting him now and throughout his military career. He and I spoke yesterday and we thought it would be a great idea if they flew a flag for Jaiden. So I wanted to let you know that they guys are praying for her and that in support of her they were going to fly a flag in her honor. Brian will then send it to me and I will get it to you somehow. And when Jaiden is feeling better you can tell her about the 182nd Sappers supporting her all the way over in IRAQ!! She'll probably think it's pretty cool. I f there is anything that you need. PLEASE do not hesitate to ask. I pray for her and for your well being. You all are always in my heart. Take Care of each other and be Strong!!

Jaiden, Keep Fighting!! Your doing a great job.

Dear Jaiden, today I went on a field trip to the state capital. We got to pretend to vote for the president and go into the govenors meeting room and pretend to be senators and make laws. We pretended to make a law that kids could vote we stood if we wanted to make it a law and sat if we didn't (I didn't stand) the standing people won it was 37 against 15. It was a lot of fun we got to see a bunch of flags from diffrent wars. Then we went across the street to a museum about New Hampshire we saw an old canoe that was over two hundred years old!! we also saw an indian house from the abenaki tribe we saw a stage coach made in concord. there was even a modle of an old grocery stote it even had an old cash register. There was an old fashion phone, a hand cranked machine that made butter and a hand crank meat grinder. Dear Jaiden you will have to wait for fourth grade for the rest I just can't explain.

And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

I hope that today was a restful one. Did you hear that we were having spring in the middle of winter? A lot of snow melted today. We still have a lot but if it keeps being almost 60* then it wont last too long.

Paul, Holleigh, Lexi, Aspen, and Gage,

To the Tlapa family,

I don't know why God does the things that He does, but I do know that all things work together for good to those who love God, and who are called according to His purpose. We pray for you dear jaiden, each day, and we ask God to touch you and bring you home soon.

I was reading the other posts, and I pray for all the families who are praying. I pray Your blessings upon all the loving people here, especially the unit in Iraq, the 182nd Sappers. Had I not read this blog, I wouldn't have known about this unit in Iraq, and I will pray for their safety and God's protection upon them all.

Lastly, God has used this situation to open my eyes as well, and I have been deeply and profoundly touched. I want to share this, and God truly is working through Jaiden to touch so many people. I am very sick and there are days when I am tired and want to give up fighting. I realized last night, after a very bad night, that I cannot complain about my burdens. I think of Jaiden, and how strong she is, and what I have to bear pales in comparison.

All I can do is thank God for His wisdom, and for His Gentle Hands on so many lives, especially Jaiden's. My own life, and my sufferings have been put into perspective, and I thank Jaiden for that. God is God, and He will guide us through the valley. He is always with us. I had forgotten that until I read about Jaiden. Jaiden, you are my angel. I will pray for you wherever I am, and I know that God's Hand is upon you dear Jaiden, and that He has everything completely under control.

With love and appreciation,

Hi Jaiden,
Jen had to rush off to bed tonight so she is going to have recess talk with you tomorrow morning. We were so happy we got to spend time with you today. You looked beautiful as always. We hope you like the webkinz and PJ's the girls picked out for you. When we were leaving the hospital we saw your grandpa. He was on his way back in and we got to talk to him for a few minutes. He thought this beautiful spring day in the middle of winter was God's way of telling us a miracle was coming. We think he was right. We hope you showed those doctors a thing or two in your MRI today! On our way back to New Hampshire we tried to guess the exact time that you might be going into your MRI and then we prayed really, really hard at that very time. Coach Mike has had an MRI done before so he knew about how long it takes to start. We think our timing was pretty good. Did you feel our prayers sweetie? We hope so. More are about to come your way right now! Sleep well sweet angel.

Hi Jaiden,
It's me Jen. Are you ready for our recess talk. It's probably going to be a short one because I need to leave for school soon. OK, close your eyes and pretend we are walking around the structure. Today we are walking with Mary, Geena, Maddy, Heather and Devany. Yesterday morning we rearranged our desks and Mrs. Belmont made it where she thought all of us would get along because each group is now a team. Each team needed a name and our groups name is "True Friends" because we are all girls and all friends. We do mini competitions and stuff like that and we can earn choice stones if we win them. We finally did our practice books again. We have not done those in a LONG, LONG time! At recess it was so warm that I took off my coat and I was wearing short, short sleeves and wasn't even cold. After school I went to the Boys and Girls Club and I did a cooking class. We made M&M cookies. Do you like those? They are one of my favorites but my absolute favorite is chocolate chunk. Well that's all for today. I need to get to school soon.
My parents went to visit you down at the hospital yesterday and they gave your parents the presents we got for you. I hope you liked them. If you did you will probably be snuggling with your new Love Frog and Yorkie! I checked with Geena and she is taking care of your other webkinz for you until you come home.
Don't forget to cough or gag and look at friendly faces.
Love, Jen

I got an email from Jareds dad Brian today. They are flying the flag for you today. There is an 8hr time difference, so it's been flying since last night and all day today. He'll send it to me then I will get it to you. You can display it in your room when you get home. Jaiden, Be Strong, Honey!!! Keep Fighting!!! Everybody is pulling for you. I hope your test had some good news. We know you need your rest so you can get better. Take your time honey. We'll all be waiting. Especially mommy and daddy. They love you so much. But you know that because you can feel their presence and their love, there with you everyday. Be Strong!!! We are praying and wishing every second of every day for your recovery.

Holleigh and Paul,
I pray everyday that God gives you and your family strength throughout this most difficult time. Hold on to each other, that will get you through. Stay strong!! I hope the MRI gave you some good news. Remember we are all thinking of you. Lots of love and well wishes to you and your entire family. Take Care of one another.

LOVE Monica

Hello Tlapa family... Kathy Carson shared your story with me, and I can relate on a deep and personal level... you see, my son AJ survived a choking accident on Halloween of 2005. He was 14 months old at the time.

It's a long, and sometimes scary journey you now find yourselves walking, I know. But I also know that our Lord will not allow you to walk this journey alone.

Jaiden, and all of you are in my prayers. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to get ahold of me.

Good morning Jaiden!

I just read many posts on the blog and they bring tears to my eyes. God is really working through you to restore the faith of many in him. You truly are an angel...blessing the lives of so many people. It's a big task for such a little girl, but your enormous smile and bright and loving eyes tell us that you are more than able to handle such a big responsibility. I prayed to my Dad and Grandpa's in heaven last night to watch over you and embrace you with their love. I hope you could feel their big hugs and I hope they gave you comfort. As always, our whole family prays for you!
Love, Michele

Tlapa Family,

Its been many, many years since we last communicated and I was shocked beyond words to hear of this very tragic accident. Jaiden, I know your mom and dad from our days of working at Amherst Equipment together.

I have kept up on your progress and know your in the best of hands, physically and spiritually!

Jaiden, it is so great to see such an outpouring of prayers and hopes for you thru this site that was made especially for you! What a truely wonderful act of love that was and is.

I often told my own little girls (well, there teenagers now) when they were growing up and had to have surgery or had their own bumps, scratches etc, that it has to hurt before it can get better...rest knowing that whatever your going thru now, will in fact get better soon!!

Again, all my hopes and prayers go out to you and your family.

When we're in doubt or danger,
And troubled by many things,
We know that we are not alone!
For whatever tomorrow brings
We know that God sends us an angel-
A protecting pair of wings.

This blog was passed on to me through a prayer chain in NJ. I am praying for Jaiden's full recovery. My father suffered a TBI almost 5 years ago and is doing incredibly well. Keep praying and have patience.

Just wanted to let you know that we continue to think of all of you. It was great to see that we are almost out of Jaiden ribbons at work! So many people are wearing them every day. It is great to see such support, and when we pass each other in the halls or at meetings, we take a moment to think of you. It is just amazing how one little girl has touched so many lives. You are constantly in my mind and in my heart. I'm sure Jaiden has many angels watching over her. Praying for a peaceful night so that you all may rest to gather your strength.

Hi Jaiden,

It's me Jen. Are you ready for our recess talk? If you are, close your eyes and pretend we are walking around the structure. Today Mary, Geena, and Heather are walking with us. It's going to be a short one today. My teacher's husband is having his birthday party so we are all making happy birthday posters for his party. For each poster I made I got two stones. We had indoor recess today because it was raining today. You've had a math break since you had other tests. Now that you are resting again here is another math question. It is 15 divided by 3. I had girl scouts today. At the end of the meeting we got our packets for selling girl scout cookies. I bet you are going to get a lot of cookies.

Today at girl scouts we made buckets for donations to your family. I am going to go say a prayer for you and your family now. Remember to cough or gag, and look at friendly faces.

Love,
Jen.

Good Night Sweetie. We are praying for your infections to be gone as soon as possible. We are all going to let you rest for a while and not come and visit you all the time. I bet we were all wearing you out! You better rest up while you can because when you get back to Milford I think most of the town is going to want to hug you!
We love you sweety.
