Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. Jaiden is battling a couple of infections right now. In lieu of this fact doctors are requesting no visitors over the next few days.

Dear Jaiden, You don't know me, but I want you to know that my thoughts are with you and your family & friends, many times throughout the day. Right now I am on my way to bed, and I want you to know that when the house falls silent & it's just me & God, we're gonna do some serious talkin' on your behalf! I will pray very hard for Him to help you fight your infections so that you can get strong again. I know you must already miss having visitors. Each moment holds new promise - so take it one step at a time, Jaiden. I believe in your strength & the healing power of love & prayer (and you've got so much of both - just for you!) Rest well, Little One.

Dear Holleigh and Paul,
Take comfort in the news that you recieved today. All the prayers for Jaiden are continuous and I can see that God is holding you up, and giving you strenght to do what you do. You truely must believe your Jaiden is in our Lords arms. Infections may be treated easily with antibiotics. Stay strong. Have faith. God Bless you both.

Dear Sweet Jaiden,
I have seen your strenght, you are a very strong girl. You are not going to let a few little germs get you down. Keep resting. Listen to your Mom reading all those books your friends have sent you. Listen to the music around you. Feel all comfy in the new pj's that you have on. Which ones are you wearing tonight? They all look good on you. I'd live in pj's if I could get away with it.
Ok now, it is much too late for us to be awake chatting. Sleep tight. God Bless you and keep you through the night.

Dear Jaiden,
Good morning love! I wanted you to know my family thinks of you everyday and we say a prayer everyday! Dont let this infection get you down, there is always a few bumps in the road! Feel our love and feel our prayers and you will find the strength~

Holleigh & Paul, as I am a nurse in a pediatric unit, I feel your pain and have seen first hand how exhausting this can be for you, stay strong. The infection can be cleared with meds but most importantly with strength, visualize the infection leaving Jaidens body everytime you touch and pray for her. The mind/spirit is very powerful and please please use it. I pray everyday for your little sweetie as well as many many people across the US, together we will get you through this~

Good Morning Jaiden,

What a bright and sunny day it is (looks like spring). I am home with KayLee because she has a yucky virus. She is feeling better today!! I thought you might want to know that she is writing about you in her journal in school (SMS in Peterborough) and she wears your pin everyday!! I am sure you are tired, but I also know you are very stubborn and you don't quit until you have reached your goals so...I know you are fighting hard down there in Boston. Keep on trucking sweetie.

Jaiden,
Keep up your strength and receive all the positive energy that is coming your way, little one. We are all pulling for you and hoping for your complete recovery. You have more strength than anyone knows, use it now and prove to everyone how strong you really are.

Holleigh & Paul,
you need to know that you have not only your own strength, but that of everyone that is praying for you and your little gem. Use it and keep yourself healthy. Don't forget about yourselves, as you are no good to Jaiden if you are run down yourself. Allow anyone to give you help, whether it be to bring you lunch, or listen to your thoughts. I really feel for you and your situation. I am always thinking of you and hope you can find some peace somewhere right now. Please stay positive and focus all the positive energy you can into that little girl. Keep the faith.

Hi Jaiden,
I was driving home from the store and thinking about how sad we all are that you are not better yet and how much we all miss your smile. It made me start to feel even more sad so I decide to think about something you did that would make me smile. Know what I thought about? Well, the sky is a beautiful blue today and it is warm like spring so that made me think about softball season. I thought about how you girls used to tease Coach Mike and Coach Peter so much and then giggle like crazy. Then I thought about how you all would stand right up against the dugout fence and shout all those crazy cheers for each other. Thinking about those things made me smile. I hope hearing about them makes you smile all over.

Dearest Holleigh and Paul,
I am SO sorry to hear that you didn't get the news you so anxiously have been waiting for. I know waiting seems almost like the most difficult thing you've ever done in your life before now. I pray that all this uncertainty cannot tear you down and that you are all blessed triple fold with amazing energy, vitality and clarity of mind while having an immense sense of peace in your hearts and minds. I'm sure right now, that alone would be a miracle.
But, God says where two or more gather together in agreement in His name that it will be done. We see many thousands are in agreement that your sweet Jaiden will be blessed with a miraculous recovery long term and an immediate recovery from any infections or complications. And, we remain in agreement that you will all have the strength along with everything else your whole family needs from now until this miracle is over. We believe, In Jesus Name.
Every moment of every day, we will continue to lift Jaiden and all of your family up to Him in our prayers. Keep Believing...for tomorrow is another day...
With Love and Huge Hugs,

Hi Jaiden,
It's me Jen. Are you ready for our recess talk? OK, then close your eyes and pretend we are walking around the structure. Today we are walking with Mary, Geena, Heather, Devany, Maddy and Shannon. This might be short tonight because we have been up past bedtime for like the last 3 nights in a row. At recess today I actually wound up playing with Brooke, Grace, Mia, Skylar, Alycia and Shannon for a while. You know how Brooke sometimes comes and grabs me and asks me to play with her right? So anyway we played a game Brooke made up at the beginning of the year that she really likes. It is where we all pretend we broke our kneee and have to go to the hospital and get it taken care of. Since Brooke made up the game instead of calling it "Broken Knee" we call it "Brooken Knee". My Mom thought that was really funny when I told her that. Today my class watched a movie. It was called Stella Luna. It was about a bat who got seperated from her Mom. It's a book too. Have you ever read the book? If not, maybe your Mom can read it too you while you are trying to get better. I had gymnastics today and they were doing testing. I did not do that good because I just joined the class I am in now two weeks ago. I used to be in Villager Level One with some of Sarah's 5th grade friends. I finished that level and they moved me up to level two about two weeks ago. Before I go I need to give you a math question. Here it is ... what is 10 divided by 2? OK, I have to go to bed now. Oh, Shannon's girl scout troop is also doing something for the fund that was set up for you. They are collecting soda can tabs and tops which are each 25 cents. They are going to put that money in your fund.
Try to work really hard on getting better from your infection and to wake up soon.
I miss you a lot and I am going to go say a prayer for you before I go to sleep.
Love, Jen

To the whole Tlapa family,
Someone gave me a prayer coin.
as I read it to mysoef it brings me great comfort and hope these words will do the same for you.
It reads:

"I said a prayer for you today, I know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart, although he spoke no word."

I hope and pray this little prayer will bring you comfort. God answers prayers in his time. Not ours so we have to be patient and wait for his answers.

May Jaiden have a restful night and the infections brought under control.

May the other children have a restful night also. May they know that there friends and family and the community are praying for all of you. We know that we know they must have heavy hearts right now.
It's hard to know that someone you love very much is fighting a hard fight right now. And that you are helpless to do anything to make it better except pray.

God Bless you all.

Good Morning Jaiden,
I was just watching the Ellen DeGeneres show, she was interviewing a little boy who lost both his legs when he was only a few months old. He is now 6 years old and he has proven to everyone that nothing is impossible - he runs marathons, he plays soccer, he plays baseball, he even dances! All of this was accomplished by trying as hard as he could to get better, and the support of all his family, friends and total strangers. Which made me think of you!! I know you are doing all you can to heal, and so many people are praying, wishing, thinking positively for you that it just must come true. Your family is showing how strong they all are by being there for each other, and handling this as well as they can. So try to feel all of that positive power coming into you, into your family, so you can fight the infection, breathe on your own, and come back to all of them. They do need you as much as you need them too. Be strong, little girl for we believe in you.

Dear Jaiden,
Another day and now again I head off to bed thinking of you in prayer. I wonder how your day went today. I hope you had sweet dreams. Maybe a grand slam with your team being best of the best. How about a soccer game with friends and relatives cheering you on. Maybe you giggled all day remembering the day you had pink and blue flowers painted on your face. Isn't face painting fun? Maybe you thought about the times that you went to the beach with your family and played in the waves or when you swam in the pool and all enjoyed a good ole fashion picnic. Whatever were your thoughts were today I only wish even better dreams for you tonight.
My prayers are for you and your family and may memories and prayers carry you through this stage in your recovery to good health again.

Even though I have never met any of the family members, I want to let the Tlapa family and friends know that I am so sorry for what has happened. I have been looking at this blog for a couple of weeks now and it is heartbreaking, but at the same time, so inspiring. It is so inspiring to see a community come together like this, and to see such a loving, hopeful, wonderful family and network of friends come together to pray for Jaiden. I admire your Faith, it is wonderful. I have a lot of friends from surrounding towns and they have mentioned to me how sad it is and how she is so cuteand how they are praying for her...the word is around. A friend of mine said it was so great the love and faith in God you have and how that will help so much and we have been praying for you. Please keep praying, as I will continue to do...I see the ribbons everywhere! Jaiden is beautiful. She is an inspiration, and I do believe she will pull out of this. Please stay positive...and please get some rest.

Take care...you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tlapa's:

Jaiden and your whole family remain on the prayer list at the UCC in Pelham, where we attend services. We pray the infections clear up and the healing continues. Most of all we pray the Lord's peace settles on the caregivers, the doctors, and everyone who comes in contact with you. Your light in our window lights the upstairs hallway all night, and when I awake in the middle of the night you are my first thought. We hope you feel the wave wishes and prayer coming your way!
