Fundraiser Meeting Reminder

Just wanted to remind you that tonight is the first meeting for the "The Jaiden Lyndi Tlapa Power of Prayer Recovery Fund".

The meeting will be held at 6:30pm in the "Back of the Lounge" meeting room at Hampshire Hills.

Anyone that wants to help with the fundraiser is welcome. It doesn't matter if you know everyone there or not a single person there. We are all there for the same purpose. To help the Tlapa family.

So please bring paper, pen, and plenty of ideas.

Thank you

Dear Jaiden and Family,

I only just learned about you today... I've driven through town and seen alot of signs up wishing you well and wondered who this special Jaiden was. Now I know.

I just wanted to add my wishes along with the hundreds of others.. to let you know that we are thinking of you and will keep you in our prayers. You sound like a wonderful little girl and I know that God is watching over you and your family and holding you in His arms until you are well again.

God bless you, Jaiden and your family as well. We know you'll be home soon.

Hi my name is Lori and though I don't live close enough to make the meeting tonight I havean idea to share with you...When my neice was hospitalized and had heart surgery we had a benefit dance at out local elks club It went great we had a great band that volunteered their time and music anf raffle tickets were sold for chances at gift certificates and baskets donated from local businesses. You have to pound the pavement a little to get the businesses cooperation bt we were not turned down..Also ask you fuel providers to donate gallons of oil that you can raffle as well. We raised almost $20,000 when we did these things. Hope this helps if you have questions lorimae1@gmail.com

Dear Holleigh and Paul,
Jaiden has captured the heart of the entire community and beyond. She is such a beautiful and spirited child. It has always been a joy for me to come home from work and see Jaiden playing with Addie and Mary, often with Aspen in tow. I couldn't help but smile at any interaction I had with her.

Joelle, Addie and I are praying hard for her. The both of you, along with Lexi and Aspen, are also in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jaiden and Family,

I was moved to tears when I learned about your accident, and I want your entire family to know that my family's constant thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Accidents can happen at any time, and it reminds us of just how precious each and every moment is with our own young children and loved ones. May God Bless and Hold You Close as Jaiden heals and comes back to light up our community again with her smile. Jaiden, I don't know you personally, but I do know that you're very special - your spirit shines through in every picture I've seen. You are precious and beautiful, both inside and out, and the whole world is rooting for your speedy and full recovery. Come home soon, sweet Jaiden.
With love,

Hello Jaiden

I just wanted to let you know how colorful your classmates are today! I was at Heron Pond to help with lunch and it seems like every other kid there had on a ribbon for you. They were also smiling because of all the positive healing energy they are sending your way. Jen Carson was there too - I am sure she is impatiently waiting to get home so she can write to you about her day. I know she is VERY impatient for you to come home so she can see you herself, along with the whole town. So hurry with your healing, and come home soon.

Hi Jaiden and family~

I have heard about you and your family so many times the past couple of years through my nieces Brittany, Emma, Addie and Mary....Oh, you seem like such a precious little girl along with your sisters and brother..We have been praying for you constantly and asked our Christian radio stations to put you on their prayer chain... I wrote before about my friends little girl who will be 6 in a few short weeks...She had a heart double lung transplant...the doctors only gave her a 1percent chance survival during her last surgery and she made it and amazed the doctors saying only a miracle could bring her back....Keep fighting.....the Lord is with you and your family....I pray for you Paul and Holleigh during your time of need for guidance in all the decisions you will have to make in the future for her care....May you feel Gods love and comfort....Our prayers are with you....

Hi Jaiden,

I hope you had a peaceful day. I saw lots of your friends this morning when they came in for their hug. I am saving a whole bunch of special hugs for you. We had indoor recess today because it was SOOO cold. For snack we had popcorn and hot chocolate like we did last year. Julia and Becky wanted to stay for the hot chocolate. The boys were fidgety and I had to give them the "hairy eyeball" and then they settled down a little bit. They are such wiggle worms. Before you know it you will be back doing all the things you love to do. Hugs and Kisses.

Love Miss Dilley

Mr and Mrs Tlapa,

Just know that I think of you and your family many times throughout the day. Take care of yourselves! You are amazing parents.

Sincerely,

Deb Winslow from the Early Learning Center was in a few weeks ago and was visibly upset...she had just learned of the accident and told me about it. I don't know Jaiden or the Tlapa family, but as a mother the news was horrifying. My family has been praying for Jaiden and her family ever since. I cannot come to the fundraising meeting, but if you hold any sort of raffle I would like to donate something.

Hi Jaiden,

I just found out what happened. Since I have been in teaching in Peterborough I have not been around Heron Pond to see everyone. I know that you are a strong girl and will be back to school ready to go as soon as you can. You are such a bright ray of joy.
Whenever I am at school substitute teaching I always look forward to seeing you come down the hallway at the end of the day with such a big smile and then give me a hug.
You are a very special girl and may the Lord Bless you.

Thinking of you,
Chris Parker-Christou

Mr. and Mrs. Tlapa,
May God give you strength and bless you and your family. I will keep Jaiden and you in my prayers.

Paul, Holleigh and Jaiden,

I just got home from the kick-off meeting for the fundraisers for Jaiden. It was standing room only ... really! There were over 40 people in attendance and my inbox has e-mails from about another 20 volunteers that could not attend tonight. There were so many wonderful ideas that came out of our session and they everyone is so committed to making this a great event. At the end of the night, when Theresa Waller and I were wrapping up the last few things, Rick and Laurie Holder stopped in. They wanted to let us know they would do anything they could to help. They stayed and did a bit of brainstorming with Theresa and I and came up with some great ideas as well. Rick and Laurie are committed to helping us fill the dome for Jaiden. Tomorrow there will be over 4000 in the dome but Rick thinks we can top that. It was such a great night and we have already made lots of progress. Your fundraising team is amazing Jaiden!
We all thought of you throughout the night and everyone was sending healing thoughts your ways Jaiden.
I hope you have a peaceful night.
Love and Prayers,
Kathy

Hi Jaiden!

I was at the fundraiser meeting tonite and so many people have so many good ideas to alleviate Mom and Dad's worries about money. They're focus is on getting you well, and we're all going to let them keep that focus.

I hope you had a happy thought or two today. My little buddy started school today and I thought of you and your Mom when I dropped him off and when I picked him back up. Sending your babies to school is hard for Mom's, but fun for you kids! I prayed for the day that your Mom will send you to school again.

Take care and sweet dreams!

A Prayer to St. Anthony for Jaiden

O Holy St. Anthony, Gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures, made you worthy when on earth to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, we implore you to obtain for us our request to heal Jaiden Tlapa's injured brain.

The answer to our prayer may require a miracle; even so, you are the Saint of miracles. O Gentle and Loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper our petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of our hearts will ever be yours.

Amen.

God Bless you Jaiden!

Love,

A girl in Jaiden's grade at Heron Pond and her loving family.

Dear Jaiden, I'm at work right now but listening to the radio. I just heard a song that reminded me of you. Do you know "Beautiful baby from the outside in" from Tim MCGraw? (hope you like country music!):
I remember I thought you looked like angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm
you've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born

Beautiful baby from the outside in
chase your dreams but always know the road that will lead you home again

We are hoping to hear some good news from your Dad. A lot of people from all over the world are praying for you.

Holleigh, Paul, and family, I wish I had the words to express what I feel for little Jaiden, and your whole family right now. Today, when I read the paper, I realized that it was you, Holleigh. I first heard your married name while you were coordinating our 20th high school reunion. I didn't make the connection until today. Please know that you are all in my prayers. I want you to know that I have seen first hand the power of prayer, and how it can heal people from physical ailments, and trauma. I am so glad to see how strong your faith is. It is reflected in everything that you have written on this blog. We do serve a big, and powerful God. He is bigger than Jaiden's accident, and He knows exactly what she needs in order to heal. I pray a blessing of strength and peace over your entire family, including Jaiden. Because of Him, Christine

From what I've read and seen, you seem like a sweet little girl, and full of happiness and energy. The world needs someone like you in it. Even though I don't know you, I've learned so much about you in the past few days, and I think about you and the accident all the time. You have a loving family that's there to comfort you everyday, and many people locally and around the world who are praying for you and hoping you get better. You will always be in my thoughts, get better soon.

Hey Jaiden,

How was your day today? I hope it went well.

Today I popped popcorn at Jacques and used some colored salt, it was supposed to turn the popcorn red, but it made it orange. With the red and orange it made me think of your ribbon, so I decided to call it Jaiden popcorn. I thought of you all morning while I was there.

I wonder if anyone else thought the same thing.

Well sweetie, I got some ribbon in tonight, so I'm going to go and make some more Jaiden Ribbons for everyone to wear.

Have a good night, and I hope I can see you soon.

Hi Jaiden,

It's me Jen. Are you ready for our recess talk? Today Mary, Geena, Heather, Shannon, Grace, Zoe, Dakota and Maddy are walking with us. Today we woke up late ... at 7:50 am! We had to really rush to get to school but we made it. At school my class watched a video about making money. I actually went to a place in Texas where they print dollar bills once when we were visiting our cousins. They have to make dollars and coins in different places because one place only has printing supplies and doesn't have the right machine to make coins and one place has the right machine to make coins not dollars. Did you know that dollars aren't really made out of paper? They are made out of cotton and linen. Also, the front and back have different ink. The front has black ink and the back has green ink. It was indoor recess again because it was FREEZING outside. You are not missing anything because it is soooooooo cold. I was thinking maybe you could do math problems in your head if your Mom and Dad could read the problems to you just like they read this to you. Here's one now. I'll start with something easy. 15+15 = _______. I know you can't tell your Mom and Dad the answer right now so just do it in your head. Maybe when you wake up you would just start blurting out answers like this 30, 74, 43, 15 ... from all the math questions I will be sending you. I think your parents would think that was funny if you did that. Tomorrow I have a basketball game. I'm not sure who I am playing yet but I'll tell you tomorrow. I think Geena's team is supposed to be playing your team. Oh, yeah, I am sending you more books. They are "Blubber" , "The Tiara Club" and a couple others. Sarah and I got $10 each from our Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Raspberry (really David) and we are going to spend it getting something nice for you. That's all I can fit in for today .... because my Mom said I have to go to bed now. So that's all for the recess talk.

Remember to cough! Good Night! Time for prayers (some for you of course!)
Love,
Jen

Hi Jaiden,
I hope you were warm and cozy all day today because it was freezing up here in Milford! Today I stopped in Town Hall and asked if we could put some "Jaiden Ribbons" on the Oval. First they all asked me to get them ribbons they could wear ... then they said YES!!! So our neighbor Mrs. Shea and I put your ribbons on 4 big trees on the Oval. Even KJ's Dad, Mr. Ammon, stopped to help when he was walking past. One is on the huge tree right in front of the gazebo. They look great! Mrs. Olsen from NQR made all the orange dots we put on the red ribbons we used. Tomorrow I am going to take one to Heron Pond. Mr. Bonaccorsi said we could tie one to the flagpole out front. The night before last Mrs. Hattenburg mentioned she was almost out of ribbon to make the little ribbons everyone is wearing. You know what happened? Jen's Gram and Aunt Renea went right out that next morning and found some .... in TEXAS! They sent it up here so we can make more ribbons. And then Mrs. Hattenburg started getting e-mails from all over the country saying they bought ribbon where they live and are sending it to NH as well! Soon everyone who has been asking for ribbons will have them! I know you like colors like pink, purple and light blue but I think when you finally come home a lot of people will be giving you red and orange polka-dotted things! Get lots of good rest tonight sweetie and let your body do what it needs to so you can take that next big step. Remember God is there to help you, just reach out and take his hand and he will help you make that next step.
Love and Prayers,
