Thought this needed it's own post...Jaiden Update

This was a comment that was posted to the blog, but I thought it was worthy of it's own post. Such positive signs, what wonderful Christmas news.

It was a true Christmas miracle.

I was fortunate enough to spend Christmas Eve and a few hours of Christmas day with Jaiden and her Mom while Paul went home to prepare for Christmas with the other children. I must say, today has been an incredible day for all of us close to Jaiden. At 12:12 am Jaiden opened her eyes and looked back and forth for a moment until she found a familiar beautiful face, Moms! She kept moving her eyes and then looking back at Mom, this went on for approximatley 15 minutes. It happened again at 4:15am only this time Pauls brother Guy was with us. Jaiden opened her eyes and looked at Guy, where she focused her eyes again for about 12 minutes, all the while her foreheard flinching, feet moving, and breathing a little more on her own. All such positive signs on the day christ was born.

Holleigh and I prayed all night for her to show us a positive sign and Jaiden with God's strength and guidance, did just that. Thank you sweet Jadey for giving Mom, Dad and all of us such a beautiful Christmas present.

Holleigh you're my best friend and one of the strongest most compassionate people I know. We will bring Jaiden home. I feel it in my heart, my soul and every bone in my body. May God keep you close to him and give you strength.

Love and prayers

WAY TO GO JAIDEN - YOU GO GIRL

We do not know you but we strongly believe in the power of prayer! We will continue to keep Jaiden in our prayers. Lauren was pronounced "clinically dead" at her birth (7 weeks premature) and she is a happy, healthy 8 year old today.
We have faith that Jaiden too can pull through this and be happy and whole again.
God bless you all.

What a lovely Christmas gift. You are all in my thoughts even though I don't know you, my heart goes out to you all. We have spent many times in hospital with our son, it is hard but healing hands are working their magic, and Jaiden is fighting to get well and she will.

Wendy, thank you so much for posting this. What a blessing it is to hear first hand accounts on the progress Jaiden is making.

Jaiden is so strong, we all know that. May God continue to watch over her, guide her and make her stronger, as only He can, each day.

Prayers will continue and not stop until that sweet baby girl is home.

Tlapa Family,

We are so encouraged by the news today and appreciate the kindness of your friends in posting progress. Our collective families in Texas (Houston & Dallas), North Carolina (Raleigh), Tennessee and even as far away as Peru, Australia and Germany are praying for all of you. Jaiden sounds as if she is a strong little girl and I know she is surrounded by love and strength of her family.

I only know Paul (via work) but I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support that the Tlapa Family has as noted on this blog.

We will keep the Tlapa family in our prayers and trust that God will continue to provide blessings and strength along the way. "Be strong and courageous..." - Joshua 1:9

We just wanted to let you know that we are praying for Jaiden! And we know of other families at our church, Merrimack Valley Baptist Church are praying for her recovery as well! It's encouraging to hear of her improvements too!

Dear Tlapa Family:
It is so heartwarming to hear about Jaiden's progress! We have been hanging on every word of e-mails received and blog postings since the accident and have had you constantly on our mind and in our prayers. It really makes us all think about how it could have easily happened to any one of us. It helps us to realize just how precious life is and to enjoy every moment! My daughter Lauren Nay went to kindergarten with Jaiden at the Early Learning Center and sees/plays soccer with her at the Hampshire Dome on Wednesday nights. We are delighted to hear about her progress and look forward to hearing about continued progress :)
In Lauren's note to Santa, she asked him to make Jaiden better :)Happy Holidays to you all and God Bless!!

Love, Marianne & Mike Jones and Lauren Nay

Kim, Jen told me about the terrible accident next door to you. I would like you to tell your neighbor when you do see her that 2 churches in Nashua, and my church (where Jen's wedding was) have prayed for that little girl. When our pastor read the note I gave him, there were moans, gasps, and tears throughout the church; she will be prayed for again tomorrow. And a telephone prayer line is going around in the two churches in Nashua. I don't know when you might see this because Jen wasn't sure you would be checking this address.

Please offer our thoughts and prayers to your neighbor's entire family. It is impossible to even try to think what they must go going through.

Take care; I know this is hard on you also.

Mr. Keane
