The Most Important Prayer Request Yet

At 12:12 am today Jaiden again opened her eyes and looked at me. They remained open for nearly 15 minutes. At 4:12 she did the same thing, this time in front Paul's brother and my best friend Wendy, also for 15 minutes.

At 6:30pm they opened again but only for about 5 minutes. Throughout the day today she has slept peacefully most of the day, with one more episode of her eyes opening.

They removed the pressure reading bolt from Jaiden's head b/c they no longer feel the need to monitor her Inter-Cranial Pressure (ICP). Her last cat scan showed a slight DECREASE in swelling which is wonderful.

Jaiden's coloring is so beautiful- she is pink and she looks healthy. My father in-law- keeps calling her his "Sleeping Beauty".

We have not seen a lot of meaningful movement which is the biggest concern at this point. However, her eyes continue to be reactive and during episodes of alertness her eyes are dilated as they should be and her blood pressure goes up accordingly.

The MRI will be tomorrow. It is a HUGE test. It will give us a lot more information about the state of Jaiden's brain. Now more then ever we need your prayers.

Please pray to our Father in Heaven, the Lord God, Jehovah; and his son the Savior Jesus Christ to be with our Jaiden tomorrow and insure that the MRI looks positive with no lasting or serious damage to her brain.

Pray that the angels guiding her will protect her and heal any remaining injury to her brain overnight before her MRI.

We continue to believe she is indeed a Christmas Miracle. We believe Jaiden will return to us whole. She has been with God, so she will come back to us with an ever more special and loving aura than before. Jaiden has always been a treasure to our family, we love her so much. Please send all the positive energy and light in the universe to her tonight.

God bless and thank you. Thanks to the Lord and thanks to each and everyone of you.
Amen

Peace and Love,
Holleigh, Paul, Alexeigh, Aspen, Gage and sweet Jaiden Lyndi Tlapa

Hi! I heard about Jaiden through the Springhills Baptist homeschool group in Granville, Ohio. I and my family are praying for her. I have also put her situation and blogsite on a Christian women's group , so know that people around the world are praying for you. Jesus is right there beside you-fighting for you, holding your hand , interceding for you . Know that this was all part of God's plan for good in your life, just like the boy Joseph , who became Pharoah of Egypt, because the Lord saw that the troubles of the present were to be the salvation of the future. The angels can comfort you , but do not give Christ's glory to the angels , that belongs to him only. Those who suffer now, will also reign with Christ. Love in Christ,Jaiden-from lisa wilson and family

Dear Holleigh and Paul,

The image of your "Sleeping Beauty" Jaiden has not left my heart or mind since Monday.
She truly is our Christmas miracle and I am more thankful than my words can say.

Your strength and character permeate her whole being. God chose you both wisely as her parents and shepherds.

I pray that God, the angels, and family and friends will provide her any additional strength she may need as she continues on her path to full recovery.

With continued love-filled prayers and healing wishes,
Joelle

Jaiden,

The Griggs family loves you baby girl, and we are missing you terribly. Mary can't wait for you to come home and play American Girl dolls with her.

We know that Mommy reads all of these to you and the girls wanted make you laugh so they asked me to send you their favorite Shel Silverstein poem:

Inside everybody's nose there lives a sharp toothed snail,

So if you stick your finger in, he may bite off your nail.

Stick it further up inside he may bite your ring off,

Stick it all the way up, he may bite the whole darn thing off!

Silly I know Jaiden but they thought that you would love it. Maybe it will make Mommy laugh when she reads it.

We love you baby girl, we will write you again tomorrow. Please keep fighting honey, you are getting stronger every day!

Love,

The Griggs

Paul and Holleigh,
We anxiously await news of Jaiden's MRI results as we continue to pray for you all. We know that no matter what the results say Jaiden will fight to overcome any obstacles. We have read so much on the web over these last few days regarding neurological injuries and have found that she has youth on her side. With kids the brain will often rewire around any problems it runs into. We are sure with all the signs she has made to date that if there are any obstacles they will not be insurmountable. She has, afterall, the support of her amazing family and a tight knit community to help her along the way.
All our love and prayers,
Kathy and Mike
