To the Tlapa family,

With each moment that passes, our hearts and minds are filled with such sorrow, pain and love for each of you. The days seem to go on forever as we await word on Jaiden.

The prayer vigil was so wonderful last night. The Church was filled with people from everywhere. There were even a few that said that they did not know your family but they felt your pain and had to be there to pray with others for your family.

Not a moment will pass that our hearts and mind is not filled with love, prayers and thoughts of your family.

I am wearing my ribbon now and will continue to do so until Jaiden comes home.

All of our love,

The Griggs Family

Holleigh, Paul, Aspen, Alexeigh, Gage and most of all Jaiden,

I bet 90% of Jaiden's kindergarden class was there at the prayer vigil last night. We are all praying and thinking about you all.

Keep up the progress. We all love you.

Holleigh, Paul, Alexeigh, Aspen, Gage and Jaiden,

You are in our constant thoughts and prayers. Please know that the whole community is rallying their support and prayers around Jaiden as we all wish for her full recovery.
We agonize over each hour that passes without an update and know your pain must be 1000 times more than ours --we wish we could take that pain away from you.
When we look at Jaiden's picture we think of the fire and tenacity hidden behind that sweet smile and we know that she will fight her way back to all of us.
May God bless Jaiden and the rest of your family.

All our love,

Holleigh and Alexeigh,
Adam and I are also praying for God to comfort you both while Jaiden is healing. Sometimes bad things happen that are beyond your control and not your fault. Don't get caught up in feeling guilty. That's just a nasty trick of the Devil. God loves you both, and He knows how much you both love Jaiden. She will be OK. I love you both, but God loves you even more! :)

We-the Bouschors in Oregon, and the Haywards in NH and ME- are constantly thinking of you and putting all the positive energy into the universe for Holleigh and her family. I wish there was something I could say that would help you through this, but just know that people are thinking of you and your family at this horrible time. Speedy and complete recovery to Jaiden and much strength and love to Holleigh and Alexeigh and of course to Paul, Aspen, and Gage as well. Peace and love, Chrissy

dear tlapa family,
i have written this blog about 5 times, because i really dont know what to say. Ever since i got the phone call from alexeigh, there has not been one thought in my mind that hasn't been revolving some how around your family. I sent with jim a teddy bear for jaiden. I spent and hour in the store trying to find the right one. The bear is for when jaiden wakes up, because i know how strong she is, and that she will make it through this.

i am sorry i couldn't make it to the pray at the church, by the time i had heard about it i was already at my swim meet. I did the 500 free style and while i was swimming the only thing i thought about was your family, and how much pain you must be in. I swam the fastest 500 i have ever swam, and i swam it for all of you. This was such a terrible accident. But it wasn't anyones fault. It was an accident, a horrible accident, so no one should be blaming themselves. But jaiden will pull through this. I wish i could take that pain away form you all. But stay positive. i love you all. Hang in there jaiden, you have made it this far, don't give up yet!
love always

Jaiden,

Get Better soon! I feel like i need to sing the song. It's the song "My favorite things". This is the part when the dogs bites when the bees sting when i'm feeling sad. You need to remember your favorite thing you won't feel so bad! Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Bright copper kettles and warm wollen mittens. Brown paper packages tied up with string. You need to find your favorite things!
This always helps me!!!!! God will take care of you! You will come home soon!! I know!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Beautiful Jaiden,

There is so much to say. You are so loved and so lucky to have family and friends who care about you as we all do. So many people are thinking and praying for you, but there is no need to worry for I have a great feeling that you will recover and be back at home in your sister's bubble wrap :)(quoted from Alexeigh)Brittany is going to get a ribbon for me, I heard that they are just as pretty as you are, but I don't think that anything could match how beautiful you are. I hear your getting better as the minutes go by and I cannot wait for you to be home. I pray and think about you everyday and all of the time. I love you and miss you so much and cant wait for the next day to come that i come to your house and I instantly get a huge hug from you.I miss your hugs so much Jaiden. God is beside you and all that care for you. Stay strong.

I love you forever.

Jaiden,
You are so beautiful and so full of life. We can't wait to see you and we will being looking forward to everyone being together again. Holliegh I was over Jody's yesterday and I was able to visit with Aspen and Gage. They were playing with Alli and Lily. Aspens hair was sticking up on the back of her head and I asked her if she had bed head and she said yea we were watching a movie and my head was on the bed. She is so cute. Gage wanted a drink and Jodi gave Gage a juice box and Gage said thank you and Jodi was so amazed with Gage saying thank you she repeated it to us because she couldn't believe he said thank you for being so young. The first thing that came to my mind is how lucky the children are to have caring, loving and wonderful parents as you both are. I was getting ready to leave Jodys house and Alli said wait Tina I want a hug and a kiss and Aspen came over to me and gave me a hug and a kiss. They say your kids represent the parents and this is so true. Your children represent you and Paul with kindness, thoughtfulness and love. We will continue to pray for Jaiden and we will see you soon.

To the Tlapa family,

I have been praying for Jaiden since Lexi called Felicia the other day and updating people when I could on Jaiden's progress. I attended the prayer vigil and it was inspiring to see so many caring people. I have wanted to do something else to help so I emailed about 70 friends and family and asked for prayers to be said for Jaiden. I just logged into my email and wanted to let you know that Jaiden is going to be included in prayer lists and groups accross New Hampshire and in Florida. I believe there is nothing but good things coming for Jaiden; you all have so many people supporting and praying for you. I hope you have felt a difference. This is the time of year for mircles and I know you are going to get one. All our love, The Anfuso's

Hey Holleigh,

Me again....Today is Olivia's 8th birthday and we went out to dinner to celebrate. I didn't expect it to hit me so hard, but I had to fight back the tears as she blew out her candles.

It just hit me so hard that your little baby is the same age as my baby, and seeing what Jaiden has been through has just been killing me.

Your family seems to be in our thoughts all day long. I constantly stop and think about you all and say a prayer for you.

Everytime I open my email, I gasp when there is an update. I look so forward to hearing about all the progress Jaiden is making.

Don't forget to take care of yourselves during this time.

Oh and my Aunt, Sister Anna Michael, said to have you contact Sr. Carlotta Jalotta (i think that's the spelling). She said this woman can move mountains. She said to request that she come pray over Jaiden.

Holleigh,
Thank you so much for keeping us all updated. We know you have so much on your plate right now and that fact that you take time to update us all is an example of how caring you are. We check our e-mail no less than every 15 minutes during the day hoping to see more good news about Jaiden. When the phone rings our hearts jump and we run to check the caller id in hope that Michelle or Jody are calling with news. We are all celebrating each milestone along with yourself, Paul and the kids. We continue to send our prayers and love out to Jaiden. There is not a minute since we learned of her accident that Jaiden and you all have not been in our thoughts. Whenever I feel my positive thoughts wane even the slightest bit I put my hand over Jaiden's ribbon and say a prayer for her and the rest of the family. Even Jack prays for Jaiden. He will come to me during the day and say "let's do a prayer for Jaiden together Mom" and then hold my hands and pray with me. We look forward to more updates as Jaiden continues to recover.
God Bless You All,

Dear Tlapa Family –

While we are so incredibly saddened by this tragic accident that your family has had to endure, we are equally moved by the strength of your family’s love and your unwavering faith in God. The caring notes left for your family is such a beautiful reflection of what a wonderful human being Jaiden is and how special all of you are. At 8 years old to have touched the lives of so many is such a rare and precious gift in and of itself. Please know that God’s love for your sweet Jaiden and your special family has been felt from the East Coast to West Coast and you are in the hearts and prayers of so many – Minnesota, Idaho, Texas, California, Maryland, Pennsylvania – just to name a few. May God continue to watch over all of you and to help all of you to heal. To Jaiden, sweet dreams while you are resting, and we are praying you get well soon.

Prayers are coming from Desert Hot Springs, CA:

From Doris Spence (Michelle Griggs' Aunt)

Each day as a Mother, we put our children in harms way. We send them to the bus stop, fasten them into a car, drive them to sports, sign them up to play sports, feed them food which they may choke on, watch them swim in pools in which they may drown....

In every day life, our children are in danger every second...accidents happen at no fault of anyone.

Deep and heartfelt prayers are being said for all members of the Tlapa family, very strong and thoughtful prayers and pain being felt for Holleigh and Paul. Hold your head high, give thanks for your children, NEVER blame yourself, for each of us parents, put our children in harms way each day. We do so because we love them!

It was a true Christmas miracle.

I was fortunate enough to spend Christmas Eve and a few hours of Christmas day with Jaiden and her Mom while Paul went home to prepare for Christmas with the other children. I must say, today has been an incredible day for all of us close to Jaiden. At 12:12 am Jaiden opened her eyes and looked back and forth for a moment until she found a familiar beautiful face, Moms! She kept moving her eyes and then looking back at Mom, this went on for approximatley 15 minutes. It happened again at 4:15am only this time Pauls brother Guy was with us. Jaiden opened her eyes and looked at Guy, where she focused her eyes again for about 12 minutes, all the while her foreheard flinching, feet moving, and breathing a little more on her own. All such positive signs on the day christ was born.

Holleigh and I prayed all night for her to show us a positive sign and Jaiden with God's strength and guidance, did just that. Thank you sweet Jadey for giving Mom, Dad and all of us such a beautiful Christmas present.

Holleigh you're my best friend and one of the strongest most compassionate people I know. We will bring Jaiden home. I feel it in my heart, my soul and every bone in my body. May God keep you close to him and give you strength.

Love and prayers

Your family does not know our family but I want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer believing for a total healing for Jaiden and your family. There are so many people praying for your little girl. I called every believer that I know who would have access to prayer chains. I hope it comforts you to know that believers from NH, Vermont, Florida, New York, and from the sounds of the e-mail that I copied and pasted for you, people are praying world-wide for all of you. Sometimes trials are so difficult and devastating that it is hard to pray. That may sound strange to you but I experienced that when my son was at Children's Hospital with a brian tumor. It gave me great comfort to know that my son and I was being lifted in prayer when I was too spiritually weak, numb, and scared to pray.Keep believing as we both know our God is an awesome God!! I could think of nothing other than total healing for my son and the great news is that God honored my prayer. You/Jaiden are in very good hands. First and foremost in God's hands and secondly surrounded by the most amazing, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable team of doctors and nurses.People have asked me what they can do so I have sent them to Jaiden's blog and let them know about gas $ requests and the healing fund. Whoever started this blog, thank you, as it helps to pray fervently for a family that a face can be attached. The updated testimony of Jaiden's progress increases everyone's faith in the miraculous healing power of the Lord we serve.
In closing, may the Lord bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon Jaiden and your family,

God loves you and your family and He can only be moved by the outpouring of love and prayers on your behalf. Please know that you and your family are on the daily prayer list at Mary Immacuate Church here in Texas. With love and blessing to you and your family.

The Lord Is Thy Keeper

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills.
From whence cometh my help?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.

--- Psalms 121: 1-8

I'm not the most religious guy in the world but I believe truly in my heart that prayers do really work and that there are angels among us. I believe that they were looking over us at all times. I feel that they are looking over you and that you will make a speedy recovery.

The Tiapa Family,

Dale and Scott Austin asked us (Dale's parents)to pray for you and Jaiden as a result of Jaiden's recent accident. We pray that you might experience God's love, comfort, peace and his presence as you trust fully in Him during this trying time in your lives. Our continued prayers are for God's will to heal Jaiden. Jaiden,
How are you feeling today? Every morning and evening we check this site to hear of more news and read people's thoughts & prayers for your recovery. We are not alone. As our family visits with relatives, drives places, skis, boards, shops and plays with our new gadgets during this Christmas season, not a moment passes that I don't think of you, your family and your progress. I'm inspired by your family's and friend's strong faith. I'm inspired by hearing of every bit of movement you've had no matter how small. I think of every thought your way as a prayer or a cheer for the healing of your mind and body. Did you hear our family scream with excitement when we read that you first opened your eyes? Be strong little girl. We're rooting for you.
