Did you know

That people all over the world are praying for Jaiden?

Just a few days ago, I placed Google Analytics onto the blog. I was just curious to see how far the blog had reached. I was beyond pleased when I saw that there were visits from all over the world.

I know the hit counter on the page has a different number, that is because this tracker was placed at a later date.

Good Morning Jaiden,
Wow! There are so many people from around the world praying for you. We know you have been resting a lot, and rest is always good for helping your body heal. Now it is time to do some work. We are all waiting for you to take your next step and cough sweetie. Try to put all your energy into coughing. We will be thinking about you all day today and praying that God gives you the strength to cough.
We love you sweet girl.

Holleigh,
The power of prayer knows no boundaries of distance or language. What an amazing testiment to the general goodness of human beings. This is so hard to realize when we live in our own small part of the world. Take comfort in knowing so many near and far are praying for you and your family.
Peace,
Jen

Tlapa Family,

We don't know you personally however we feel we do, through mutual friends we'be been updated on Jaiden's condition and have been touched by her strength and yours. As parents ourselves we cannot imagine how hard this journey has been for you all. We have kept you and little Jaiden in our prayers daily. We pray that the Lord keeps you strong for her and we Pray that the Lord continues to wrap Jaiden in his love to help her heal. The power of prayer is an amazing thing.

Hi Jaiden,
It's me Jen. Are you ready for our recess talk today? If you are, close your eyes and pretend we are walking around the structure. Today we are walking with Mary, Geena, Dakota, Zoe and Maddy. Today I woke up really late because last night I was at a family fun night at the Hampshire Dome for people who work there and their families. Zoe and Ellie Sacco were there too. There were a bunch of inflatables and one of them was laser tag. Most of the things I did with Ellie because Zoe got there late. We did jousting. Ellie won both times we did that. We went on one of those huge inflatable slides and we also did the inflatable obstacle course. The only thing we did not do was the regular bounce house. We did laser tag about 5 times. Mostly, I did that with Ellie but the last time I did it with Zoe. One time I only went into laser tag because I wanted to shoot Nathan Dalessio. I shot him tons!!!! My Mom played one time and Nathan was in that game too. She said HE shot her tons!!!! He shot me too but not as much as I shot him. Have you ever played laser tag? I think you would like it, it is AWESOME!!! I hope your Mom and Dad are reading the books I sent down to you and that you like them. My Mom told me that you need to cough in the next few days so your doctors can take you off the machine that is helping you breathe. I will praying for God to help you cough so you can get off the machine. I bet you are tired of being on that machine and it will probably feel good to cough. I think it will because if I could not cough for a really long time and I had to hold it all in I would probably soon just have to burst out coughing. I wonder if you have a TV in your room to watch the New Year's Eve countdown? I hope your are awake to see that. Well, that's all for our recess talk for today.
I hope you have a good day today and I will pray for you after this.
Happy New Year!
Love,
Jen

Hi Jaiden,

I just came in from shoveling all the snow off of my car and filling up the bird feeders. I love to see the cardinals and blue jays at my feeder, together, in the snow. It is a special treat. I am thrilled to hear of your baby steps of progress. It seems that now is the time for you to cough. You are a determined girl and I have seen you work very hard in the classroom when you had a challenge. Well, Miss Jaiden, now it seems is the time to use that determination we all know you have to cough. I know you can do it! I think of you daily and look forward to seeing you.

Love Miss Dilley

Hello Mr and Mrs Tlapa,

I can't begin to know what you are currently experiencing, but I know you must feel the love and support pouring forth for Jaiden. As her teacher, I know she has a stubborn streak and that she will not give up. You are also determined and will be there to carry her along when she needs that and finally, God will care for all of you when you feel like you can't take another step. May the prayers you said for my shoulder recovery come back to you many fold. I have felt from the beginning that Jaiden will make a complete recovery and continue to pray for her healing.

Sincerely,

Miss Dilley

Hi Jaiden,
I wanted to let you know that when I went to church yesterday, a lot of people asked me how you were doing, so I told them about how you are getting a little bit better every day. Adam went to Sunday School, and all of the kids there, and the teacher, prayed for you. One lady that I know at church, Mrs. Brown, told me that her eight-year-old daughter prays for you every day.
I and a bunch of other people all over the world believe that one day you will be totally healed; you'll be laughing, and running around, and having fun with all of your friends again.
So, for now, if you ever see one of the angels all around you, or see Jesus beside you, take his or her hand, climb up on their lap, and let them wrap their arms around you. I know that the hospital can be a very scary place to be in, but Jesus and the angels can help you to feel less afraid. You can even talk to them right inside of your heart, and they will listen to you.
Adam and I will try to get to the hospital to see you again soon.
Bye for now.
Love, Sharon and Adam

Hello Tlapa Family -

Though I have never had the pleasure of meeting you personally I do know Jaidens smiling face from the Thursdays that I volunteer at Heron Pond lunches. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers, we are sending healing wishes your way, and hope all of this will soon be a distant memory for all of you. We will keep thinking positive for you, knowing that you are in the best hospital with a fabulous staff who will do everything possible for you to get better. Stay strong - your town will be here for you when needed!
