Yesterday was so emotional. The MRI had some very good news and some very scary and potentially sad news.
The good news is that Jaiden's entire brain cortex is intact and undamaged. The bad news is that it was her basal ganglia which suffered injury due to hypoxia. We do not know the extent of cell death verses cell injury, only time will tell.
The basal ganglia is like the highway that transports stimulation and messages back and forth from Jaiden's body and her brain.
Sometimes undamaged areas can pick up the slack for damaged areas, and sometimes new pathways are created, especially in patients so young.
Jaiden was keep very cold for the first several days, which is a benefit as well.
Jaiden spent a couple of hours last night awake and she is begining to move her toes and hands more and more each day. This morning she even moved her arm.
We still have the utmost-faith in God and we still believe Jaiden will have a miraculous complete recovery.
A neighbor friend and his Bishop from the Mormon church gave her a healing blessing Christmas night with blessed oil. Yesterday Paul, Guy (Paul's brother) and I went over to the Lady of Perpetual Help Mission Church, which is a healing church. We lit 8 candles for Jaiden and all said deep prayers to the Virgin Mary, Jesus and even Joseph.
We must continue to be strong and have faith in our Jaiden. Your prayers and love are like our safety blanket. Reading your posts gives us renowned strength.
Please keep praying for our baby and believing in the miraculous power of prayer and the loving grace of the Lord's healing power.
All our love and gratefulness to each of you.
PLEASE KEEP PRAYING TO OUR LORD IN HEAVEN.
Jehovah God is more powerful than any MRI.
There is another prayer vigil for Jaiden on New Years Day at our church, the United Methodist on North River River.
All our love and grateful thanks to each and everyone of you.
YOU ARE OUR PILLAR.

Together we wait, and hope, and pray. I've heard many, many stories about how the brain can repair itself over time. Jaiden is so young and strong, I have faith that it will be like this for her too. We wish you so much strength and patience at this time. Love, Karina & Steve
Holleigh & Paul,
I hope hearing about the prayers of so many is helping you through this. I will continue to have my family and everyone that I know pray for Jaiden's recovery. Wishing you peace, continued strength and more joyous updates.
Jen
The good news is better than the bad news is bad. I continue to pray that Jaiden will be just fine. I pray she heals quickly and is home in no time.
I know in my heart that Jaiden will continue to be a miracle for all of us. It sounds like she's got so many good things going for her for a complete recovery.
You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Lots of Love,

We are so happy to here about the good news. We have faith that Jaiden will heal and be home soon with your family. We are thinking of you everyday and sending many, many prayers your way.

Dear holleigh and paul,
Keep the faith. You would never beleive the number of times we have seen children rebound from tragic accidents and illnesses. Children are resilient. My prayers and thoughts are with Jaiden. One step at a time.
Love Colyn, ken, alex, ash, aby and jack
Jaiden, our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you, your entire family and all those who are caring and praying for you.
Keep fighting and staying strong. You healing is an example for all us about the power of faith and prayer.
Love,
The Johnson family.
Thank you for keeping us updated. The first thing I do each morning is check for updates. I'm so glad the MRI had positive news for you. Jaiden's age, strength, spirit and overwhelming support will get her through the tricky part. All my thoughts and best wishes are with you and your family. ~ Tara Isaacs
Stay strong Holleigh. You are truly the strongest person I know and you will get through this. We are all praying for Jaiden to make a complete recovery. People make miraculous recoveries from brain injuries - when doctors give the worst case scenario, patients prove them wrong again and again. We will all continue to pray that Jaiden will do the same.
Be strong.
Dear Holleigh and Paul,
Our thoughts are with you and we are praying for more and more of the good news. Try to stay strong and positive.
The Podd Family, Milford, NH
I just want to let you all know that we are praying for Jaiden. My family and I live in PA and although we do not know you personally our hearts go out to you at this time. God is a God of miracles and He can surely perform a miracle on your daughter. We will continue to check on her recovery and keep her in our prayers daily.
Love,
Andrew, Rebekah & Nathan

To the entire family, The good news far outweighs the sad part- keep in mind it has only been a few days since Jaiden has been in Boston, I truly believe she is at the best place in the world for her right now, she has already pulled through with so much strength, there are more miracles and achievements to come. Everyday that she is with us and improving are ALL good signs. You are all fighters, you wont LET this go any other way than good.
ALL My LOVE,
Jodie
Holleigh, Paul and family,
We think about you all the time and we are always looking here for news. We are pleased to see that you received some good news, and have to believe that Jaiden will fully recover from this. With the overwhelming love, support and faith you both have, the best outcome is truly possible.

Holleigh, Paul, Lexi, Aspen, and Gage. Jaiden is so lucky to have all of you in her life. You have got to be the strongest family I know. Jaiden is probably the strongest of all. She has the will to keep working so hard each day. In her recovery she is everyday teaching us how important the little things in life are. I get so excited every time I hear of every little thing she does. I am so proud of all of you!
The Grigas family
God answers all prayers - I have sent this website to friends and family across the country. Know that there are people far and wide, some known to you and some not, praying for Jaiden. ALL things are possible in God.
Love, Michael, Erin (Sharkey), Keegan and Catriona Carter
Paul, Holleigh, Alexeigh, Jaiden, Aspen and Gage,
We will continue to pray and heavily focus our prayers on the recovery of all brain functioning. Whatever the outcome, you are fighters and survivors. Jaiden could not be in better hands, the staff at Children's is amazing and her family is even more amazing. I pray that God will continue to give you the strength that you need to move forward each day. We love you so much and wish that there was a way for us to bear some of your pain. Our heartfelt prayers are being said by the moment and will continue until Jaiden comes home.
We LOVE each and every one of you. As Pam Nostrand keeps saying..."Believe."
All our love,
The Griggs
Dear Paul and Holleigh,
We are praying very hard for Jaiden's full recovery. I hear daily updates of promising progress and that is where the focus should lie. Jaiden is young and resilient and will pull through this. If there is anything you need at any time, please let us know.
Much Love, Pam and Nick Gelsomini
Jaiden,
I heard the news today that you hit the doctor with your arm. Doctors can be very annoying, can't they?! I know they can, becuase I've spent lots of times in the hopsital.
Adam, and I, and all of our fiends are praying for God to keep healing you. Getting all better might take longer than you want, but it will happen. Do you know that a broken bone can take more that sixty days to heal? You're already healing more and more every day, so don't give up. You keep fighting to get better, and the reat of us will keep praying to God to keep healing you. You can even pray to God yourself for Him to heal you. God is a really good listener, and He's never, ever, too busy to listen.
Adam and I love you a lot. God loves you, too. :)
Sharon and Adam
Jaiden,
When we wrote to you, we meant to write all of our friends are praying for you, not our fiends. People can make silly mistakes like that. The really good thing about God, though, is that He NEVER makes mistakes. So, you trusting God and try to get better, and He will answer your prayers.
We love you.
Sharon and Adam
Jaiden and Family,
Just want you to know my family and friends are all praying for your recovery. My thoughts have been with you everyday and you will get better because Geena needs you to keep her out of trouble. We miss and love you! Keep up the good work.
Love
Mark, Sarah and Chelsey Christian
Jaiden,
We are so excited to hear the good news from your test. We know this is a really big hurt so it will take a really long time to get everything better, but, we also know you are a strong girl and you WILL not stop healing until you ARE all better. The way you are surprising us all each day with your new "moves" we feel sure you will be better before we all think.
Remember God is with you Jaiden and the rest of us are right behind him.
Paul and Holleigh,
We are amazed by the strength and unwavering faith you have shown us all throughout this last week. We know all the results were not as you had hoped, but remember some miracles take time. Jaiden has already proven to be a true miracle in so many ways and we feel sure she has not finished surprising us all. Thank you for taking the time to keep us all updated. With each milestone we all celebrate along with your family. We will continue to pray for Jaiden's full recovery and you will be in our thoughts at all times.
Love and prayers,
Mike, Kathy, Sarah, Jen and Jack
To the Tlapa family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and Jaiden while she recovers from her accident. Know that God works in mysterious ways and when Jaiden recovers this will serve some greater purpose. For now, please keep us updated on her progress. Peace and Love.
Just wanted to let you know that my family in California is thinking of your little girl.
Paul and Holleigh,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. We will continue to pray for Jaiden's full recovery. Stay strong, Keep the Faith. Thank you for updating us.
Love
Mike,Heidi,Mathieu and Danielle
Dear Jaiden,

Dear Holleigh, Paul and family,
I'd like to echo Jodie's words. Jaiden has amazed us so far and I have faith that she will continue to do so. She's so strong and she continues to show us that she still has important work to do on this Earth.
Please feel our love and support for her and for you all as you go through this journey with her.
Our prayers will not stop. We have faith in God that he will continue with her each step of the way.
With our love and support,
Joelle, Don and Addison

Dearest Jaiden -
What a great job you did on your test yesterday. Everyone is so proud of you and how hard you continue to work on getting well.
Keep up the good work little one.
Paul and Holliegh -
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family. In Dec,2003, we had a family member who also suffered a severe brain injury - and had a questionable future at that time. Today, she is a happy and health, fully functioning 40 year old. She has many years on Jaiden, and has overcome incredible odds. We believe in and pray for the same for Jaiden. Your strenght and stamina has been a testament to us all. We will continue to pray for you, your family, and Jaiden.
The Ladeau's
We are checking the site every day and Jaiden is constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I was so happy to hear that she is becoming more alert and showing signs of improving every day. We all believe she can overcome this. We're here if you need us.
Laurie Reed & family
Holleigh and Paul,
Jaiden has been in my heart and in my prayer since the moment I heard on Thursday evening.
Thank you, and thanks to those close to you for being so diligent in providing updates. I, like so many others check my email and the blog countless times a day to see if there have been any updates on Sweet Jaiden.
I am so impressed by how she's fighting. I smiled when I'd hear that Jaiden had opened an eye, but they had to sedate her. Then she'd moved a foot and they'd had to sedate her again. It was like she was saying NO I don't want to sleep! Tough cookie, just like Mom.
That toughness, along with the overwhelming community support in strong kind thoughts and prayer for Jaiden will help her recover.
Jacqueline posted a photo of the Humble Pie sign. Today I saw support for Jaiden appear on the Elijas sign, as well as Hampshire Hills and Small adventures.
There are so many folks out there praying and rooting for you!
You are in my heart and in my prayer. Be well, little Jaiden. And Be well, Holleigh and Paul, Alexeigh, Aspen and Gage. May you find strength and peace. I know you have such strong faith in God. I pray that it serves you well, and answer ALL our prayers.
Love,
Karen
Thank you so much for all the updates. I check several times a day to see how Jaiden is doing. I too feel that she will be fine. She is young, healthy and strong, and as we have already seen, she is a fighter.
With so many people praying, supporting and rooting for one special little girl, I know she will recover fully.
A Merrimack friend.
Dear Tlapas,
We are praying continually for you, your beautiful daughter Jaiden and your entire family. We are also praying for the wonderful Staff and Doctors. And thank you for the informative up-dates.
We agree...with GOD all things ARE possible! God indeed is the divine physician and healer!
Hugs xo
Holleigh and Paul, Your family has been in our thoughts and prayers everyday. You have such a great and beautiful family and we have such faith that Jaiden will recover well. From what we have known of Jaiden she has such a sweet and strong spirit and that will get her through this. She is also blessed to have two incredible parents as yourselves to give her so much love, strength and support. Our prayer are constant!
Love, Lena, Grant, Jaya, Lexi, and Carter
Hi Jaiden,
My Mom told me your tests went pretty well. She said your insides, like how you think and feel is all OK but you are still having trouble with your brain telling your body what to move. I think you must be feeling pretty scared because you can't speak and are having trouble moving. I would feel scared too. It must make you feel happier when you see people you know with you, especially your Mom and Dad. I had lunch with KJ and I took pictures to send to you. Maybe you can put them up in your room to remind you that we are thinking of you and saying prayers for you. I'm glad you will still know about everything we talk about when you come home. It's OK if we can't run around when you first come home as long as I can still see you and tell you about all the things we like and what is going on at school and with our friends. If you can sit in the swing when you first come home I will push you. If you can't we can just talk ... cause thats what girls like to do anyway, right? Maybe your parents will bring some of your presents to you to open. Then when you can talk again you can tell me about them. Every single day I will pray for you until you are all better. My whole family is praying for you ... even my Gram and Mimi in texas and Georgia and all their friends and their whole churches.
Good Night Jaiden!
Talk to you tomorrow!
Love,
Jen
Our prayers are with you! My son is 7 and in Heron Pond 2nd grade. We heard the news through a neighboor and our heart goes out to you! We send much love!

Dear Tlapa Family,
We're keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers, especially Jaiden. We're pulling for her to get stronger every day. May all the community love and support sustain you all.
The Bullwinkel Family, Milford
Dear Jaiden,
It was so good to see you moving your arms and legs and looking straight at your Mom and Dad and your Grandparents. You are doing great!
There are three things I want you to know; first, as much as your Mom and Dad love you, your Heavenly Father loves you even more, and is watching over you every moment of every minute of every day. Second, there are thousands and thousands of people praying for you and asking God to help you get better. How cool is that? And third, between your courage, your family's love and support, and all those prayers, you have so much going for you as you continue to heal.
See you soon,
Pastor Tom
Dear Jaiden and the Tlapa family, I want to say hello and let you know that I am thinking of all of you today and I am sending positive thoughts your way! Sincerely, Carolann Egan

Dear Jaiden,
Visiting with you today was so wonderful. I feel blessed to have seen you moving so much and looking so lovingly at your parents and grandparents. I hope you enjoy listening to the Eagles CD that your mom requested I bring to you. It warmed my heart to see just how many people you have touched by looking at all of the cards and drawings covering your walls. You have such loving parents and family and friends that are praying for you to get better. Keep fighting hard to heal so that you can come home soon. Love, Kim Calden

My mom tried posting this to no avail and asked me to post it for her.
This is for Holleigh, Paul and their wonderful big family. I am so sorry you are all hurting so much. There is nothing I can say that will ease that but please know that Paul and I are with you in thought and prayer and we hold you all in our hearts. I just read a page from Matty Stepanek's book, "Journey through Heartsongs" and I thought I would share this with you. This speaks to just what you are all doing right now.

I'll never let you go Mommy
and you'll never let me go, either
We'll hold on to each other

Staying together you and me.
We'll be a holy family,
Praying together.
We'll be a holding on family
Forever.
Holleigh and Paul,
Though we don't know each other well, I have thought of you everyday since Lena informed me about Jaiden. I wish that I could be in NH to help you at home and attend your prayer vigils. Of course, maybe being in Illinois is a blessing, as my family and friends here are praying for Jaiden as well. I have prayed daily for Jaiden and for you Alexiegh, Aspen and Gage. I think we're not always meant to understand the path that God chooses for us, but I do know that if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it. The best thing that we can do for ourselves is to put our faith in him and realize that he knows best.
Jaiden is a beautiful young girl and she has a wonderful life waiting for her. This is merely a speed bump on her road to being a phenomenal woman!
Our family will pray for you each day and if there is anything we can help with upon our return to NH, please do not hesitate to ask. Our thoughts are with you....Love, Shawn, Michele, Jacob, Zachary and Colton Tewksbury
Just wanted to share that both The Next Level Church, Somersworth, NH (www.nextlevelchurch.net) and St John's UMC, Dover, NH (www.stjohnsdover.org) are praying.
Take strength in the power of prayer & God's love!
Holleigh & Paul, I have read among the comments, although they are all uplifting and sending you prayers, I'm going to set out and write a bit about me. Perhaps something different... to distract you, even if only for a moment. I'm writing to you from Indianapolis, a friend of mine passed this blog along to me tonight. I used to live in Concord, NH and worked in Hooksett - I only moved out here recently to be married to a man who serves in the USAF. We have a little boy, Noah, who will be 4 in May. It has been a difficult transition on all of us, going from such a small town to such a big city! Shortly after the wedding, Adam had to head back overseas where he is stationed. For now, we are living here with his family and preparing for our own move overseas to be with him at last. I must admit, between moving, the wedding and the holidays and ultimately saying goodbye to Adam again - it has been so easy to lose touch with the little things that really count in life. Like, just how beautiful our wedding day was (12/1/07) - how blessed we felt to have such a family and group of friends watch as we comitted our love before God. Like, the moment I looked into Adam's eyes before he stepped on the plane - I should have said I love you one more time. Do you know what I mean? It's so hard to explain. But, hearing about your story - it makes my heart ache, even more. It woke me up. To realize, how precious life is... and how we must all stop and smell the flowers more often. The quote, "live as if today is your last" comes to mind. I didn't know what to say at first, because really - only YOU know in your heart of hearts how it feels. I had to step away, prepare dinner, wash Noah's hair and tuck him into bed. So many thoughts were running through my head as we went about our nightly ritual. As he lay, peacefully sleeping - I watched him and asked myself, "how would I feel if something like that ever happened to my baby?" I don't know that answer. Nor - should we, as parents, ever know - because we should never be faced with that scenerio. I do know - God will never give us more than we can handle. We are strong, we are capable and we are everything He needs us to be for Him - for our families, our friends - and our children. Children are a gift from God. Adam and I have been trying for quite some time for another but the timing has never been right, between deployments and duty - and the sad realization that I may never be able to carry again. We pray, that once we are altogether finally - no deployment in sight - we will be able to sit back and relax and plan our future. Oh, how I pray for a little girl! Remember, children are resilient. Noah has had some medical problems in the past, thank God nothing that he hasn't been able to overcome. He always bounces back 110% more better than he started out. I do remember that feeling, watching him lay in the hospital - how helpless I felt. Know that we are here for you, however we can be - please dont hesitate to ask. I've read and heard of your family, you are a strong bunch, God will reward you - and it sounds as if with all the progress Jaiden has made in the past week - He will come through for you. He works in mysterious ways, but never doubt His love - He is there, with you - in that room, beside Jaiden, encouraging her, supporting her - loving her... it all has happened for a reason. Again, anything at all - reach me at my email: a1crosiesgirl22@aol.com God bless, your all in my prayers... I look forward to hearing of more good news!~ Sara ~
Holleigh and Paul,
When I put Maddy to bed tonight she wanted to show me she is keeping a journal about Jaiden. She writes in the journal every day.And I wanted to share what she wrote today.
Dear Diary my bbf is in the hospital and I am very sad. I want her to get better. I know if I pray every day to God he will make her better. I can't wait to see her becuase I miss her so much. I have lots of new toys I want to show her so God please help her get better soon. Love, Maddy
Jaiden,
I am praying for you every day. I pray that you can feel how much you are loved. I pray that you heal quickly and miraculously. I pray that you can reach out to your mom and let her know how much you love her. I pray you open your eyes and turn your head toward your mom’s sweet voice and gaze at her face. I pray you squeeze her hand in yours when you hear her tell you she loves you. I pray that you will look at her, and let her know with the smile in your eyes that the most precious gift to you is your mother’s smile.
Jaiden, you are very blessed to have such a wonderful family. May you all continue to heal and be strong and positive and not spend a single minute feeling otherwise. By God’s Grace and all of your strength and love, I know you will be healed. I know God has great plans for each and every person in your family. May you each feel God at your side, wrapping you in the warm blanket of His endless love for each of you.
Love and prayers,
A Nashua friend
To the Tlapa Family,

Hi Jaiden, I wanted to tell you that my Great-Grandmother in Myrtle Beach, SC has put you on her church's prayer circle.
It is really cool driving around town & seeing the signs asking people to pray for you. I know that that will help you a lot.
I hope you can come back to your house really soon.
Nick Gutterson
I know that Jaiden will pull through this and that our almighty God will heal her brain completely. It is through trials that God draws you in and makes himself so incredibly real. Your relationship with him will be so sweet. I have learned through my own trial with my moms illness that god does indeed heal and that is purpose for our lives is so much more then we can comprehend. Hang in there and know that Jaiden is resting in his hands and he is mending her brain day by day.
But for you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with HEALING in his wings;
Jaiden, I only met your family one time but you provided me with some great memories... Keep up the good work and I expect to see you chasing your neighbors with squirt guns again next year. :) Stay strong!
Holleigh and Paul,I wanted to send yousome comfort today! I am often wondering and thinking of you and how u are holding up. I know from dealing with the ups and downs of my moms illness last year and all the time spent at the hospital that it can sometimes seem so surreal. I know you know this, but Gos is with you. He has such a great plan for your family. It is times like this that he draws you in under his wing and he works on your heart and it is amazing how close you will be. It is a process as it is with Jaiden. God has her in the palm of his hand mending her brain daily. She will recover and with your faith in God it will be a full recovery. One verse I want to remind you of is Malachi 4:2 But for you who fear my name, the Sun of righteousness will arise with HEALING in his wings and and you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.
God bless you today and may jaiden show you some awsome improvement on this beautiful day
love Sarah
Paul and Holleigh,
I awoke this morning to a beautiful blue sky and immediately felt a rush of hope for today. Hope for Jaiden and her healing. I know as we move into the next days and weeks progress will come more slowly, but I also know it will continue to come. Just as a broken bone takes longer to heal than a cut, Jaiden's injury will heal in it's own time ... in God's time. I pray today that we all have the patience and confidence to know that healing is happening even when we cannot see it as clearly as we would like to outwardly. I pray that God will help you continue to be a source of strength and comfort for Jaiden as she heals. God is holding Jaiden in his healing hands ... he has been since this accident occurred ... and he is holding both of you as well.
Love and prayers,
Kathy
Holleigh and Paul
There has not been a day that has gone by that you have not been in my thoughts and prayers. Continue to stay strong and know that so many people are praying for a full and complete recovery for Jaiden.
May God bless your family and keep Jaiden safe.
Melissa Dougherty (Lincoln)
Jaiden,
We are all thinking of you today. You are doing such a good job healing sweetie. Everyone is so proud of you. Every morning we send big hugs down to you through our prayers to God. We hope you can feel them.
Coach Mike (Jen's Dad) told us a funny story about you, Jen, Devany and Kaitlyn Hess last night. He said a couple weeks ago your basketball teams played each other. Before the game typically each team will go to one end of the court and practice as a team. That is their time to warm up and get ready as a team to play against the competition. The day you all played each other you girls all went to one basketball goal and sent the boys to the other. Then you all just talked, talked, talked non-stop while shooting baskets. He called you all a gaggle of gabbing girls.
His story made us all laugh and smile. We hope it makes you feel the same way.
Jen can't wait to see you again so she can talk, talk, talk some more.
Keep doing a great job healing Jaiden!
Love,
The Carson's - Mike, Kathy, Sarah, Jen and Jack

Holleigh and Paul -
My niece was born 8 weeks premature and required emergency surgery the day of her birth. Her first weeks of life were spent at Boston Children's Hospital. It is a very special place full of loving, giving and talented "healers". Your baby girl truly could not be in a better place. During my niece's hospitalization, Children's was home. My sister still keeps in touch with families she met and became close to during that most emotional time. May you receive comfort and strength from the other families you are meeting during this time and we pray for your entire family, especially for your beautiful girl, Jaiden, and for all those families who wait and hope. I continually check this blog for updates on Jaiden and say prayers throughout the day - in the car, late at night, in line at the grocery store - whenever I think of her (which is often)and of you. Keep up the good work, Jaiden!! Your neighbors are all keeping candles lit in their windows in honor of you - awaiting your return home. God Bless -

Holleigh and Paul and Family,
Keep up the Faith. Keep up the strength for you sweet girl Jaiden. I know you will with the help of God and your lovely family and friends. Just remember to take good care of yourselves and each other. For Jaiden's sake she needs you to have a clear strong well rested and feed head. SO that you can think clearly and listen to the doctors and know all that is going on. YOu are doing a tremendous job so far. You are both an amazing and strong couple.
God Bless,
Mary ANn Hassick
My prayers are going up daily for Jaiden.

Holleigh and Paul,
Our words cannot express enough how our hearts go out to you and the hurt you must be suffering. There is power in prayer and we're over here doing all we can to get more and more prayers for Jaiden. On Sunday, she'll be our Church's prayers as we mention your angel's name. Have hope, faith and patience. You are an awesome family with tons of support from all who love you! We're there for you if you need us!

Hi Jaiden,
Are you ready for our recess talk today? If you are close your eyes and pretend we are walking around the structure. Let's see today Mary, Geena and Maddy are walking with us.
Yesterday I had lunch with KJ and took some pictures. I am sending 1 to you. My Dad is taking stuff to Geena's Mom today to give to you. KJ wanted me to say hi to you. After KJ went shopping with her Mom she came over to my house and we played with my new Littlest Pet Shop Pets. I got a big pack of 10 Littlest Pet Shop Pets for Christmas. My two favorites are the white kitten with the pink bow and the grey squirrel. We also watched the movie Hairspray with my brother and sister and her sister while we were eating dinner. Today I woke up so late I did not have breakfast!! My Mom and Dad decided to let me sleep as late as I wanted to today. I ate lunch with my Dad and then we had a tickle fight. I hope your parents are not tickling you right now when you can't fight back! I played my new Hannah Montana Wii game today too. Did you know that my Mom decided to let us get the Wii after last Christmas because your Mom told her how awesome and fun it was. Thanks!!!!
That all that really happened last night and today. So I guess that's all our recess talk for today.
Keep getting better so I can talk to you in person soon!
Love, Jen
"I leave peace with you; I give my peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear."
John 14:27
I have not met your family officially. My mom is the administrator of the SSI and my Dad The pastor of the church there. I am also Sarah Moshiers sister.
I just wanted you to know that I am a product of Gods divine intervention. I will have to tell you my story at some point but against all odds I am here and God is and remains faithful. As you know my mother has been healed of terminal ovarian cancer and is doing great as you have seen. I know that Jaiden is very precious to the Lord and His love for her and your family is beyond imagining. Know that I have cried with you and rejoiced with you, that I stand in prayer with you. My children 8,6,4 and 20 months pray each night and ask each day how "the little girl like us" is doing. We visit the blog often to check on how things are. You are now and will remain in our prayers until Jaiden is well.
God hears our prayers and he is holding Jaiden so close.
"For I know where my help comes from, My help comes from the Lord, The maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:2
With Love,
Erica Jeanes

Many positive thoughts and prayers out to your family!
God surrounds us every day. Jaiden, by the grace of God, is showing us the face of Jesus. Through her suffering and her perseverance, she is teaching us what it truly means to live one breath at a time; one moment at a time; one day at a time. What a powerful lesson from a beautiful child. Holleigh, Paul, Alexeigh, Aspen and Gage, we love you more than words can express. May God strengthen you in your journey and may he grace you with moments of peace. Every day is a gift.
God Bless, Laura, Guy and Simba
Dear Jaiden and family
Though we don't know each other, our prayers, thoughts and best wishes are with you. Stay strong, may all the community love and support sustain you all. Kinga, Michael and Brenna Gase
Jaiden,
I have to tell you that last night I was driving in the car on my way to Keene, and Evan was resting his eyes in the back seat (better known as taking a nap, but he won't admit that) So I had some quiet time to myself. The whole way there I prayed for you. Tried thinking of ways to make you better, but I kept coming back to praying for you. So that is what we will all continue to do.
I know you will get through this. I just know it. You are such a strong willed little girl, full of spunk and energy. There is no way that you are going to sit back and take this. Your going to fight, I know I will see you on that soccer field someday soon. I can't wait.
xo,
Jacqueline
jaiden,
I hope you feel better real soon. I am praying for you. I think about you everyday. I might not know you but Christina told me good things about you. Keep the faith.

I think this tragedy touches so many because they see just how fragile life can be. Life is often taken for granted each day as we complain about the traffic light we just missed, the crowds in a store, or the price of gas. Jaiden's fight makes us all stop and savor some moment with our children, or partner, or sibling that we might otherwise have missed.
Read these blogs and you see that every parent, grandparent, child, friend, or perfect stranger is there with you in that hospital room, praying that Jaiden improves each day.
As I asked my mom, who has found strength in God throughout her life, to pray for Jaiden, she reminded me that God listens to my prayers as well. And so, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Jaiden tonight, and maybe that desire to reach out to God is the only way we can make any sense of this tragedy.

The Tlapa Family,
You have all been in our thoughts and in our prayers continuously all the way from Colorado! Just as so many other people have said, we have all of our family and friends praying for and pulling for Jaiden. It was wonderful to see the pictures of how Jaiden has grown since we moved over two years ago! One thing we remember clearly about Jaiden is how strong she is! She will certainly pull through this...it will just be in her own time. We also remember how strong and supportive your community is! This support will help all of you get through this. We will continue to follow this blog hoping for more and more good news each and every day! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all! Stay strong!

Good morning Jaiden,
I hope you had a good night sleep. I hope Mom and Dad did too. I'm sure you all need it.
I know you had a very busy day yesterday. Everytime I talk to someone they tell me that they saw you and they were able to hold your hand. How very special.
Do you have any clue just how popular you are? I think you are a celebrity here in Milford. I've never had my name written on confetti in Times Square.
Once you get better, you are going to have to take some time to rest up that hand because I think people might start looking for autographs!
Okay sweetheart, I have to go for now. I will be down in Boston this week and I was hoping I could sneak in and see you. I hope so.
I will see you soon. Keep getting stronger. We are all rooting for you.
xo,
Jacqueline, Scott, Sidney, Matthew, Olivia, and Evan

Dear Jaiden's family,
You don't know me, but I know what you are going through. I live in Texas and am visiting my in-laws in Exeter. I just read the article about Jaiden's accident. My heart goes out to your family. Five months ago my 29 year old son was in a motorcycle accident. He lost both legs at the scene and was basically dead on arrival at the hospital. He had no fluids left in his body and only the faintest of a pulse. Fortunately he was taken to a teaching hospital so they took him to surgery just to give the residents a chance to see what would be done with this massive injury. The Lord wasn't ready for him. He began to respond and before we knew it, he was out of surgery and in ICU. We, like you, did not know the extent of any brain damage due to the medically induced coma. Our family, friends, and people from all over the world joined us in prayer. Chris emerged from the coma, and today is an example of the power of prayer. There was no brain damage, and he gets around in his wheelchair with incredible ease. I know the feelings of helplessness you are feeling. My prayers, and the prayers of everyone on my contact list will be with you and your family as you go through each day. Our God is an awesome God, and even when we don't understand why things happen the way they do, we always know He is in control. May God bless and keep you in the palm of His hand, and may you feel the prayers of so many people surrounding you and lifting you up.
In Christ's name,
Rae Wilson

Hi Jaiden-
I hope you have some room on your walls at the hospital- Brie & I have been buzy scrappin and drawing some coloful pictures for you to look at when you are strong enough. Joe even put a joke in one of the spots...and you know hes not really that funny!! Brie wanted to get you a couple of webkinz- not sure if you have them or not- its two kitties- she named one Brie and one Jaiden-you can change the names if you want. Were waiting for all this snow to melt and bring out the sun and warm weather- just in time for another visit to the beach and maybe Yorks Animal Park. You stay right where you are and get lots of rest and give you mom a couple extra signs a day to let her know you hear all the stories shes is telling you and about all the things people are writing to you. That is the best thing for all of us to hear. We are thinking about you daily and your road to recovery. Stay strong Holliegh and Paul - ya'll are amazing
Love always
Terri, Joe & Brie Gorgoglione
